This is one of the most popular multi ladder options over at Amazon.  This is a telescoping multi ladder that has a flared bottom for more stability, it is also rated at 300 pounds, is a 2 person stepladder and extension ladder in one, has a step height from 5-9 feet an extension from 11-19 feet, is made of aluminum, can be extended to be 19 feet tall and weighs 43 pounds.

If you need an extension ladder in the 20 foot range but you want one that is also going to be compact and easy to store, this is one to consider.  This works great as an “A” frame stepladder, it is a bit heavier than your regular 8 foot stepladder but its also less bulky than most.  This is also useful outdoors as a taller stepladder and the feature that allows this to be setup on top of stairs is a great bonus.

If you want something a bit cheaper, here is the ever popular Little Giant.  This one is $199 and is also quite popular with 34 customer reviews and a star rating of 4.5/5 stars.  This is a multi purpose ladder with a 250 pound rating, it works on uneven surfaces, stairs, ramps, curbs and docks.  This also has an extension range of 9-15 feet and stepladder ranges from 4-7 feet.

This whole thing can separate into 2 scaffold trestles if needed, and it also weighs in at only 32 pounds.  It stores away in 4 feet and 7 inches of space.

This is a great top heavy ladder when fully extended with the wall standoff.  The ladder is very easy to work with and configure, it’s built solid and is rock solid as an “A”frame.  The fact that this stores away easily is a great plus as well.

This is probably overkill for the non-professional, IE: the average home owner, but at 29 pounds, it’s definitely lighter than the previously mentioned popular ladder.
